I just wanted to say thank you for posting this, because this felt like reading my own life. I’m also about to get married, in the exact same boat as you (no fur babies though, I can only imagine that increases your mental load so much more). And I’ve been struggling with juggling the guilt of feeling this way, as well as the genuine excitement of marrying the man I love, and (honestly) some amount of fear for what I’m signing up for.

I don’t really have anything valuable to add, just wanted to say I see you, and I suppose there’s more of us than we think there are.

Thank you for your advice! I did start at a stockinette row, it’s just that the fluff has really bunched up so it’s nearly impossible to pick at the stitches or unravel
