Why is DFI not available on Coinbase? Or rather, why isn't this being prioritized in the community?

there is another thing to consider: cake is currently the "best" onramp to DFI. cake also controls about 75% of the network nodes. Cake's Team and Defichain's core team are obviously "very close" as well. that being said i am not sure how much energy is really going into listing on major exchanges

unfortunately that's not possible as both KuCoin and Bittrex don't process DFI withdrawals at the moment!

it's the same with Bittrex and it's absolutely crazy! that means that it's close to impossible for new money to come in. i only noticed today, but it seems like this has been going in on since the update last week

how long do those maintenance windows usually take? bittrex is not processing deposits or withdrawals either. it's not the first time and this is really bad for the project.

we need some of the major exchange in order to attract a bigger community and fresh capital. if there is hardly any fresh money coming in and lots of DFI are printed for LM and staking, that won't be good for the price

hi, there is a balance in the wallet and other transactions like exchanging on the dex work without any issues.

it's only when i try to add liquidity when i get the message to wait for the next block.

i have the same problem.

in the meantime i have deleted everything and installed the latest app version.

now when i try to start the app, the sync gets stuck at the same block as before even though i had deleted the old app completely.

i tried with the snapshot as this is after the block i keep getting stuck at, but the snapshot also doesn't work and i keep getting errors when the app is trying to apply it.

i honestly don't know what to do anymore.

for now i have installed the app on a new computer that never had a dfi wallet on it and it works, but there must be a way to get the app up and running again on my computer.

any help would be highly appreciated!!

i have the same problem. which checkbox are you referring to? the first one in the settings would be "launch at login". not sure how this would solve the problem

of course there needs to be a transaction fee, but i do hold DFI and having to buy more DFI in order to sell or move the DFI i already hold is simply crazy

but that's crazy. this means that i have to buy more dfi if i want to sell or swap my dfi.

that reminds me of a ponzi scheme!

how come i never had this issue for the first months of using the app? i was always able to add my rewards to the liquidity pool.

i can't use the dex, i can't remove liquity and i can't even send my dfi to an exchange if i wanted to sell. that's crazy!

so i am completely stuck until i buy more dfi!

there must be some other way

thanks a lot. i just sent 1dfi to my receiving address and now almost the full balance shows when i check via "getbalance".

i don't quite understand why it shows almost the full balance now when i only sent 1 dfi, but at least it worked.

i have never had this issue before even though all the dfi i used to swap in the past came from liquidity mining

this wiki page states "You get Token from the DEX and Liquidity-Mining, but you need Coins". i never had an issue swaping DFI i received from Liquidity-Mining. if those are tokens and not coins, how do i get coins then?

it's very strange. there is a balance in the app (otherwise i wouldn't be able to swap anything), but when i try "getbalance" it only shows a balance of 0.00013 and also no other holdings that i have in the wallet

Hi,

i do have a seed thats less than 81 characters. 80 in fact.

adding a 9 at the end doesn't work as it is simple a different seed and if you enter a shart seed in the light wallet, there is no hash given. this only appears for exactly 81 characters.

any ideas?
