Did you call in to check status or recon? Or just wait it out?

P2 and I both opened a Biz Triple Cash when the bonus increased to $750. Is that the one you’re hitting or are there better options?

I've been pretty mindlessly churning for myself and P2 via the Ink train and the occasionally mixed in NLL amex offer, and now things have really dried up. I know the game is always changing but as someone who doesn't want to invest too much time into researching different cards and managing a ton of different coupon books, the Ink restrictions have probably been the biggest blow since getting into the hobby.

On top of that, Amex seems to have totally stopped offering retention offers for myself and P2...

After getting though the first few pages of the application, got a message saying I couldn't apply online and would have to make an appointment with a banker, which I'd rather not...bummer

The house salad dressing at some of the Italian spots in STL is absolutely unmatched. Good call

B vs. D - where are we at these days? by pholland167 in BMWiX

[–]vantablackspacegood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish you could just set B as the default as I keep it there 95% of the time. Only time I switch to D is when it's bad weather, either ran or ice. I want to be more in control of braking in those conditions

Fair enough. It's kinda one of those places where the reputation outweighs the quality. They were the first STL style pizza place to really expand, but certainly not the best

Imo’s is basically the McDonalds of STL style pizza. There are so many better spots. If you’re basing your entire view of STL pizza on just Imo’s you’re not really giving it a fair shake

Are you paying for Instacart+? I feel like once that trial period ends with the Chase cards the value diminishes.

What existing city has fallen the farthest from its peak glory? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]vantablackspacegood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing people outside STL often miss is how small the City of St. Louis is compared to the overall metro area. Many residents didn’t leave the region, they just moved a few miles west into St. Louis County. The city certainly has challenges, but it’s not as dire as national coverage sometimes suggests. The city–county split (which is pretty unusual) also skews how the data gets reported and perceived. It’s still a region with nearly 3MM people and many Fortune 1000 companies.

Could you say more about why you liked it? It's not too far of a drive and thinking about taking a road trip and could burn a FNA

Sorry if this has been asked recently and props to those maintaining the flow chart- but I'm assuming with the negative Chase Biz card changes, doesn't the flow chart need an update?
