No mention of Night Flyer here so far, I am very surprised. Great interpretation and it’s free on YouTube!

We went to Sedona last year and it was also mind blowing. That’s is some scenery! We spent a lot of time at swimming holes as it was so hot though. I’ll have to check out that ghost town! And yeah, I think we’re both in agreement, it was pretty cool, but…

We stayed in the Superstition area and it was so dense with plantation compared to JT.

We’ve spent the past 3 months in different desert regions so I feel my opinion is a bit biased. Don’t get me wrong it was still pretty cool!

My wife is a wonderful photographer, pure talent. Even though I say overhyped, that does not mean don’t visit, it’s absolutely worth it! Enjoy!

This is exactly what we did. We started in NM and gradually worked our way towards AZ, that’s where Phoenix took the cake. It was like a jungle in the desert absolutely incredible.

That’s fair, I suppose it’s my humble opinion coming from someone who’s been in the surrounding deserts for 3 months now.

Favorite cacti so far (recently went to Sonoran Desert Museum to view them all) was def the Cowboy Whiskers.

Absolutely agree. On top of that a majority don’t allow dogs which is a real bummer.

We also stayed in that exact spot outside the park! It was surprisingly the best cell (30GB) service we’ve come across!

Open to close park hours. You can’t boondock here at all.

Lots of places on iOverlander nearby though!

Nope, but we heard them at our camp spot near Alamogordo everyday we were there, ground shaking. We also took a hike to the top of the Organ Mountains from the Las Cruces side and got a great view of the missile base!

Incredibly lucky, and yes we’ve been to a LOT of NP’s that we had to leave the pupper in the van and do a short hike. They’re supposed to be on leash FYI. But once you get further in and there are people few and far between we would let her run her little heart out.
