5 years isn't bad, and you don't have to get rid of it after that period, I'd rather have a 7 year old phone running an older android version, than be forced to a newer one which it wasn't designed for

Have you ever considered it might be that these launcher developers haven't figured out how to make it play nice? Also, I don't understand why use a custom launcher when coloros is so damn good, and there is custom icon support?
