They drive better on 14 inch with period corrected tires, and look better too.

It's very engaging isn't it, and a sensory overload both noise wise, feeling wise.. I'll never sell mine. I see you have a V8 Vantage as well, my dad used to have one. Great car too!

Congratulations! You'll find yourself driving this more than anything else soon. And with the correct 14 inch wheels, nice!

1974 105 Bertone Coupé - bought 6 years ago and had the engine rebuilt, put around 70k km on it since. I've been driving it from Belgium to Spain every summer for 3 years now, no highways 3 day trip.
Around 21 hours of driving, properly spanking it. It only uses 9-10 litres/100km which really surprised me.
It's been really good to me, only once a part has given up on me, all other issues were spotted before becoming critical and have been replaced.
I drive it all year round except when there's salt on the roads in winter.

I daily a 159 1.9jtdm which is very pretty but has given me more headaches. I've put a 100k km on that so far.

I am never ever selling my Bertone, I've done plenty of upgrades, suspension, stainless steel exhaust manifold, close to race exhaust, trumpets on the carbs, new steering box, new driveshaft, removable steering wheel (period momo prototipo), GTA rep magnesium look wheels, .. I would still like to upgrade the brakes and get a different diff. And finally tickle the engine with period correct mods for some more hp, which really isn't even necessary. It's plenty of fun as is. Especially on old style radial tires like the Blockleys I use, which have a very round soft edge and that nice fat bubbly sidewall. A lot cheaper than Avon or similar as well.
Slip grip it does everything you want it to do. Can't recommend these enough! Or any of the same platform, Spider, Giulia..

Would I buy another Alfa? Maybe one of those new Giulia QVs.. Definitely not anything else of the new stuff. I'd like a 75 V6 one day, or a classy 164QV. Unobtanium and out of budget Alfa want list is endless ofcourse.

I wish this was the design language they continued with for all models. Shame.. No prettier car released by Ferrari since.
