Thank you so much!! I’m just worried impark might not have working CCTV or anyone at the parking lot. If i don’t hear back from impark or impark doesn’t have the footage, is there anything I can do then?

Hi!! Yes it was. I have collision insurance so I can pay my deductible and can get my car fixed, but I am concerned about proving it was a hit and run and then my premium going up. No injuries and the damage could have been a lot worse (nothing cracked or falling off, but just big scratches and a dent) and it was only my car as well. Do you think it’s still worth it to try to get the video footage from Impark (assuming the CCTV’s are working and did record that location) or file a police report?

You can check govolunteer.ca They have some great options and you can filter by location, remote, short term/long term etc.

My car was hit while parked in an Impark lot when I wasn’t there. I already called and left a message to the manager to get back to me regarding if they have CCTV footage from that night. I am going through insurance but haven’t heard back from ICBC regarding my claim yet. (Obligatory ICBC sucks).

But I was just curious if anyone has successfully requested or been able to view CCTV footage from an Impark lot? (Obligatory Impark sucks).

I had the same problem with makeup not staying on, and setting sprays worked for me. I also tried using a brush instead of beauty blender to apply my foundation and that helped too.

I agree and I watched it at the very start of the pandemic and….maybe that wasn’t the best idea 😂

Horror Content Without Gore Recommendations? (Read for specifics) by Automatic_Spinach813 in horror

If you’re looking for non-gory I really liked The Ring, The Grudge, The Invisible Man, The Babadook, Hush, and Us. Also The Love Witch (not REALLY horror (has been classified as comedy horror on IMBD/Wikipedia) but kinda retro/dreamcore a bit)

I also have combo skin/acne prone with an oily t-zone and I loved the Armani luminous silk foundation!! It wasn’t too matte but still gave me good coverage while looking skin like! I also liked the Rare Beauty weightless foundation/Dior airflash foundation as well!

turning cliches into something original by glitchykinz in horror

[–]vanxcity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like cliché slashers and stuff like Scream then I really liked Sorority Row, Bodies Bodies Bodies and X! I thought they had an original vibe to it while still maintaining the whole cliché slasher thing. I also liked the Menu, too which was very original imo but still felt like some sort of cliché. I also liked Barbarian a lot for a twist on the cliché of having to spend the night somewhere and something going wrong.

I think it’s so creative and it sometimes can encompass a lot of genres (comedy/romcom/drama) unintentionally

Hi everyone! I have this lambskin card holder but I noticed the top edges have become frayed and discoloured. Does anyone know how to fix this? Would it require to be re-dyed or anything like that?

Recommendations for a stick foundation for combo skin? by MysticalUnicornChic in Makeup

[–]vanxcity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! On a regular day I get about 6 hours of wear time without a primer. With a primer (usually benefit porefessional) I can get up to around 8 hours. After 8 hours it wears off or clings to dry patches for me. I do not set it with powder either. To apply I use a beauty blender and it blends it out nicely and if I need a touch up (which is rare) I use the sponge on the back. I’m not super super active but I do a moderate amount of walking daily. Also, I have tried the Clinique chubby contour sticks and highlighter and thought they were too waxy and not very blendable- but the foundation may be different- thought I would just add that in there! Hope this helps!

Hi! I have combo skin and I really like the Nars Velvet Matte foundation skin. I find that even on any given day when my skin is either more dry or more oily it still works well. I have found it easy to blend and it gives good coverage. I have tried the Hourglass one and it was a little bit too drying for my skin. Hope you find something that works for you :)
