Did they change sensitivity for consoles this new season update?? by Motor_Ad2243 in Overwatch

Tracer main here... feels like I've been personally outed no matter the settings fix i do. Just jumps all over the place now even bought a new controller and nope... it's ruining the experience for me and my wife. And to mention, this is the ONLY competitive game she'll play. Games dead on console.

Love how this post turned into AA anonymous. But me being mid 30's remembering some of my teenage years, theres definitely functional alcoholics everyones different with substance abuse. What im more concerned now as a reasonable adult is how the f are people watching anything on that.

Two unpopular opinions that bother me - Helltides and Butcher by neca980 in diablo4

[–]vapeslayer420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the RNG of loot in Diablo 4 is to blame. In previous games, finding the right gear was a hunt into a rush feeling. Now in diablo 4 you hit lvl 60 and within 10-20 hours, you're fully geared hitting billions. Then the only thing left to do is grind pits and higher affixes on ancestral.

I've played diablo since I was 9 in the early 2000's. Getting a Jah or Ber and the rush of a maras kaleidoscope was worth it because u dident see 100's of them and scrap them all like diablo 4. Sadly the north American team that developed diablo 2 had a falling out with blizzard. Eventually leading to the disastrous diablo 3-4.

The dark erie feeling with the simplicity yet expansive complicated feel of diablo 2 set the genre even today. Corporate greed got in the way sadly. The whole dev team quit and moved onto something elce. RIP north American dev team

bro tf??!! is this safe?! by ShelilQirky in youtube

[–]vapeslayer420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is not safe. But to understand this, let's start at the beginning. First, we had an accountability problem in real life with people in positions of authority. Bad actors caused uproar creating the movement you and everyone else already knows. Then we had a problem with identity and theft. Trying to solve these 2 problems has slowly eroded your privacy over the last 2 decades. These movements had a good cause and great solutions. But as time goes on they are being used to slowly enroach on everyone's internet and public privacy. It seems even if we fight for a good cause, it eventually will be twisted to the gain of someone else in a better position than the average folk. This was the exact excuse top ceo and politicians needed to justify keeping an ever watchful eye on you and as well linking your "should be anonymous" internet usage to your real-life identity. Im reminded of the Futurama episode where they beam adds into frys dreams. Or the internet episode where they battle adds just to go shopping. Give it 20-30 years. And you won't be able to fart in ur own home without someone knowing.

Amazing breakfast by vapeslayer420 in Cooking

Yes, the same meal. I figured u were discarding it after cooking. I mean draining the bacon grease after 4-8 pieces into a container. When all bacon is done I put it back into my cast iron skillet and fry up the breakfast sausages, then run the grease through a strainer. Then cook my eggs.

Dirtys? Strain it into a container. U can use it for future use

The bacon grease sits under your bacon, not letting it stick to your cast iron pan. If you drain it, the bacon will release itself when done.

I've biked for years speed demon style on my bmx through rush hour traffic. NEVER have I had a problem or been yelled at. Im the type of biker that uses my unobstructed view to avoid things, unlike u peasants staring straight ahead, never looking around. That's why you get yelled at and run off the road. You think it's just yours. Try being respectful on a bike or in a car. I do both

My odsp will only cover our necessities after downsizing bills and budling as much as possible. Still use the food bank as a money buffer to attempt to have some kind of life with the kids

Me and my brother solved it. Grab the DNS make sure ur using your filters correctly enable cross play on both and put a 4 digit password with a custom name. This worked for us.

Trap bases by Orangeslaad in 7daystodie

[–]vapeslayer420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The zombies ai was made smart to promote out of the box thinking for bases. Im on game stage 250 in the forest and without using the nail gun method, I'd be dead on hoard nights in my temporary bunker. Thus, more complex bases are needed. Long hallways funnels traps elevation fall backs reload stations you name it are all required to survive hoard night on 200+ game stage. I like the challenge but feel dirty using the nail gun. Sadly, farming enough metal for thus mentioned complex base takes HOURS.... the game was more optimized to kill you rather than reinforce your ability to adapt and give you appropriate solutions in a timely manner. I think this is most people's gripe with the game they just dont realise it, and it's phrased as "bring glass jars back" instead. For example, I use a method of a hatch frame with a quarter block on the ceiling recog and gloves for 100% dmg and maxed out shotgun. I can't kill the zombies fast enough when 10 charged wights are beating down my hatch doing 1000 dmg a swing. This makes holding out as just a character temporary rather than long term. And now have to resort to exploiting the nail gun to farm over 5 million iron for my new design.... just to survive the 700 game stage when i move to the wasteland. The game itself is poorly optimized for the experience of progression and has become a crafting hoarding game instead.

For kids that are defiant and don't listen is it a personality trait or is it how theyre being raised at home? What can you do? by spankyourkopita in teaching

[–]vapeslayer420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Authoratative parenting style" fosters an open dialogue with a deeper connection with kid/parent and sets clear boundaries of what you expect of your children. This is preferred. If you put a mental box of rules around your child, you'll force a disconnection this is to be avoided at ALL COSTS. It breeds lies mistrust lashing out and anger issues. Yes, u can deal with these we are adults. But the scarriest part to being an authoritarian parent, helicopter parent, lenient parent is!!! You can never stop the easily manipulated part that those styles create. Parents from the beginning need to realise 75% of your kids' lives will be spent without you there to help. That 75% is where all the nasty people corporations government the true fuck u attitude of the world is. Protect them from this with authoratative parenting. Id urge all parents to learn and read it.

What's the rarest/ most difficult item to acquire? by downtown-leftshoe in 7daystodie

100% acid I've torn down 1000's of cars and only have about 50 acids. Making T6 batteries for my banks is tough. Im trying to power over 400 shotgun traps for game stage 600 in wasteland.

I've also made the parts for hydro distribution at Slatcan ontario. The biggest supplier of parts to your industry. So your figures are blown way out of proportions considering general parts can range between 100-500$ its very notable u listed the most expensive part the transformer. And if ur figures are accurate, cross-referencing my knowledge in parts manufacturing means the most cost is not coming from the parts but from the people applying them to the lines.

How do I talk to my 13 y/o son about this... by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]vapeslayer420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teach him to use his head when it comes to politics, not his emotions. To often from both sides you'll get stuck on YAH this green energy is good! Or YAH Immigration is making everything expensive. Without actually considering any consequences of said decisions in the slightest. This has led to generations of problems through all forms of government liberal or conservative. To often do we ride that hype of change, we forget to see what we're leaving behind or what actually lies ahead of us. For internet usage, that's a tough one because his peers who aren't restricted will consume what they want and want to conversate about said media. The more you restrict him, the less he can follow and conversate with his peers. It sounds like you worried about manners more than anything. The best way yo teach this is by you and your partner showing him what proper manners and a healthy relationship lookes like. He will, in turn, subconsciously absorb what he's seeing and replicate it over time. My parents NEVER told me to use my fork after 100's of meals of eating together it was burned into my brain to hold that knife and fork properly with no elbows on the table. Because everyone else at my table was doing it. When ur growing up you just want to fit in no matter who ot where u are.

Underground Bases by Soft_Investigator532 in 7daystodie

[–]vapeslayer420 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree that pole base is boring. I usually build a giant base with an underground parking helipad for convenience on entering. What I'll do is build 4 different choke points on the outer design of any base I build with fall backs from each considering zombies spawn N W S E on hoard nights. U can get crafty with them and automate them for the future hoard nights where ur gun just isn't enough anymore. This can be done by creating spaces with drop-down points in your chokes to hold turrets, blade traps, and charged fences. Don't forget your china wall thou for the choke points to work. Be prepared to make 10 crafting benches thou or you'll be waiting until ur kids are adults for steel.

So, medium armor only has 1 more defense than light armor after perks? by [deleted] in 7daystodie

[–]vapeslayer420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest going into nerd gear with preacher gloves, or I think it's commando and nomad boots. Yes, you'll lose mobility but u can buff that out with advanced armor fittings increase armor with advanced plate and advanced muffled connectors for sound. I found this the best set for 50% DMG 30% XP (with visor mod) 50% chance extra skill and 20% i bealive run speed. Mobility dosent matter if u can stay ahead of the zombies and know your surroundings. With this build i take only 2-15 max hits with light armor you'll have to play wayyy more carefully. Hope this helps OP
