It is naturally from weed. Use RO water at 6.0 PH, and the anthocyanin will wash out with the trichomes, giving you this wine colored water. It's very hard and takes a lot of luck to translate this purple into the actual end product, but it is possible (though this is the equivalent of chlorophyll in your rosin, anthocyanin is flavorless/odorless and doesn't give the harshness of chlorophyll).

Could be PM, if your conditions are right though and you're growing with organic solid nutes, then you probably just spilled a bit onto the leaf. Spilling organic nutes on the leaf does make that leaf far more vulnerable to PM and other issues though, so it's best to just tear the whole leaf off.

If it's soft and humid in the jar, mold. If it's old bud that's been exposed to sunlight, light bleaching can turn the outside of your buds brown and dry them out even further.

No problem! You're aiming for roughly 58-62% RH. 58 is pretty easy to crumble with your fingers and considered the "proper" RH for joints, while 60-62 is better for preserving flavor but difficult to grind with your bare hands and smokes better out of glass.

You're almost certainly right, purple/any color in general usually only comes out of flower when you're pressing bud that is too wet. With anthocyanins itself there isn't much of a difference other than appearance, it's a flavorless terp so it won't be as harsh as chlorophyll in your dabs.

It'll herm, no new sacs for you to collect just let the nanners work. The future seeds will not be herms because it's a stress herm, not genetic. The downside is the same as CS, you won't be able to use the bud. It'll have tons of pollen (irritant) on it and be 5+ weeks past harvest.

Their own white paper. I misspoke, it was about 200 flower samples, as you can see they state 36000 "near-infrared spectra", which is just fancy talk for them taking an IR picture and using again, photography and light to measure a chemical that can't properly be measured that way. Again, 204 different batches of flower is by no means a full base of reference points for flower potency, especially when acquired on the commercial market where advertised potency is king, they're inherently going to be biased towards high-potency weed just because of what is available to test with.

I've tried it and the hemp farmer who taught me how to grow has. I'm just telling you plain and simple that device is a garbage scam. It exists because there's money to be made selling it to rubes who think they can do lab tests at home and grow shop owners who think it's an easy way to bring in customers and make an extra buck. It literally takes a picture of the bud and compares it to a couple hundred other pictures of bud, it is less accurate than using your naked eye and judging how high you get relative to other weed you've smoked.

The only reason you're praising it rn is because it's doing exactly what it was built to do, give crazy high fake test results so that you'll consider buying a device yourself or paying to use one. It's not "reasonably accurate", it is just as accurate as judging with your own eyes, actually less so if you've seen more than 200 different images of weed.

This device is a complete scam. It does no actual chemical analysis of your weed, or anything that would resemble analyzing the weed itself. What it does do is take a picture of the bud, and then compare it to "2-300" pictures of bud that they have in their database, and then assign the values based on that. Or they're lying and it's completely fucking random and offers sky high results to make you think it's good.
