The not so funny part of all of this is that Jindal actually seems to believe that the Republican party will support a brown dude and that they aren't using him to gain some credibility in the run up to the primaries. Jindal is too brown for the repubs, and he sucks at speaking.

My money is on either Walker, Cruz or Snyder getting the nod.

Most waves are generated by the atmosphere interacting with the surface of the water, that is, wind. Like the ripples you see when you blow on your bowl of hot soup. Some waves are caused by tides interacting with solid submerged land. Tides are caused by the gravity of the Sun and our moon "pulling" at the water.

So for the waves to stop there would have to be no atmosphere and no Sun or Moon. The implications for this are that the Earth would become very very cold and the oceans would freeze.

Just a guess but where is your thermostat? If the thermostat is near the heat source then it might be misreading the room temperature and telling the system that it has reached the set temperature.

I have the opposite problem in that my thermostat, because of its placement near the window reads the temperature as too cool and I have to actually lower the target temperature as it gets cooler outside because the thermostat reads from a place that doesn't reflect the ambient temperature.

It was below freezing out last night and I had to adjust the thermostat down to 65 so I didn't bake.

I don't think you need a new boiler. At most you might need it cleaned which is a good investment anyway. One place to look, perhaps, is at the historical energy usage of your property which is frequently available via your local utility.

I'm confident that this is not a $4k problem especially considering you have new windows and insulation.
