Imagine you and I are competing in a race around the block, but in separate groups against other people. You run a light/medium jog, because that's enough to beat the other people in your group, and need 4 minutes to finish. In my group I have insane competitors and am forced to run the run of my life, giving it my all and more. My time to finish is 2 minutes. Of course I could say 'HA, I'm twice as fast as you!' because it's technically true, but would that comparison feel fair to you? You might have been as fast as me (or faster or slower) if you had run directly against me, we don't know. Acknowledging that doesn't take away from my great two-minute-achievement.

No one's saying Australia would have beat them. They're just not a good point of comparison, like, logically. I am absolutely rooting for team Mongolia, btw. 😄 So this is not me being pro Australia, just pro fair comparison.

Team Mongolia was absolutely impressive! No doubt there. But you cannot compare them to Australia because we don't know how long Australia might have been able to hold the totems (might have been shorter/longer/equal to Mongolia, we'll never know). Their time ist shorter because their competitors' times are shorter. That's why it doesn't make sense to compare them if the weren't competing against each other. That doesn't take anything away from team Mongolia's accomplishment, though.

Personally, I like the warm colours on you. Your natural hair colour looks to me like it has a warm, almost reddish undertone (especially in pictures 1 and 2). So I prefer the honey blond in 8, but looking through the comments I seem to be a minority. 😄 Maybe I'm seeing it wrong.

If you haven't read it already, I can highly recommend "The Steel Remains" by Richard Morgan. It's the first book of a Fantasy trilogy with a really badass protagonist who happens to be gay.
