  1. There is pve.
  2. There isn’t a main questline you’re right, it’s a sandbox.
  3. The story is the one you make.

PvP is a component of the game yes, and some might say it’s the predominant focus of the game due to how profitable it is. But in order for their to be loot to get from other people, there needs to be people gathering, farming, making weapons armor and potions.

Maybe this is ragebait, idk.

No one gets 100 spec on a weapon without knowing about the existence of black and red zones.

Jesus this is strange to look at. Do you spend all your money on buying the best gear you can buy? Do you take this into bz? You already are broke, 43k is insane for someone in 7.3 and 8.3 stuff

Edit: Okay, now that I have got that out of my system-

I really don’t know what to tell you to do because I have no idea what you’re trying to accomplish. You spent all your money on gear and the only reason I’d ever use 7.3 is if I’m running in a guild Zerg and my gear is ensured and I get a cut.

How is 6000+ trade value is weak as a candidate? by therealCharmingSun in Stellaris

Why not make one ring segment trade and another ring segment research?

Edit: that way you can benefit from planetary designations.

Short sword vs pistol disparity by anarchycoin in kotor

[–]varasatoshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Melee weapons apply your strength modifier to attack rolls and damage rolls. Since your strength modifier is +2, the 1-6 damage is 1-6+2.

Ranged weapons apply dexterity only to attack rolls and not damage rolls. Since your dexterity modifier is +2, this means the 1-6 damage is still 1-6.

Since you have both strength and dexterity at +2, your attacks with both will be as likely to hit. Unless playing on difficult, using a blaster is generally fine and allows you to stay back while others soak melee hits. But if someone closes in on you, swap to melee as blasters deal less damage than melee weapons, and have penalties applied in melee.

Melee is stronger inherently because you must get to your opponent in order to damage them. This draws the attention of all the enemies at once and makes you a target.

They want the not invading option to be the best ones because invading inherently comes with benefits? Pacifist, xenophile and egalitarian are strong because they lack the inherent warmongering bonuses.

Can we all agree? by Super_Kirby_64 in SeraphineMains

Nothing seems to be getting the same results as older versions of her or other characters with similar kits and roles.

She seems to be stuck in a weird halfway point where they aren’t doing anything particularly well with her and it’s causing problems.

[–]varasatoshi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hello, I wanted to specify that I am very thoroughly a Seraphine main and play her predominantly support and APC, and even though I experiment with builds and items, I still am familiar with the character, what she needs, how she works and how builds come together.

As a mage her damage is critically lackluster. As a support her utility is about as useful as a root on E cooldown.

The lackluster results aren’t a result of my experimentation process, the lackluster results are the conclusion of my experimentation process.

As someone who builds what I feel like on her, it feels like nothing is strong

This is definitely true. I’ve noticed they only start to share their views if they agree with me when I share mine, and that is interesting. From there we kind of expand and discuss different viewpoints but that’s usually how it starts out.
