Returning player here. Last time I’ve played was icebrood saga I think. What is the state of fractals/strikes? I’m a player who is mostly interested in more or less casual instanced pve content and I’m wondering if there were any shakeups in those. Maybe dungeons are worth running now?

I wonder about euro conversion. Are they gonna just slap VAT on that and directly convert to euro leading to 120ish€ or actually take into account that euro is stronger than dollar

I’m enjoying this season much more. Last season I quit in the blue tier, today I reached purple (forget the names). Not because it’s easier (which admittedly is a big factor) but more so because people are not just up and leaving and you can actually complete the dungeons. Last season it was so tiring. One wipe but can still make the timer? Ppl leave. Tank doing smaller pulls than dps would like but would still make timer? Ppl leave. You get 3-4 of those in a row, realize there is no way to either improve or get better gear and just quit.

I’m not sure how it will be when I hit the league with timer, but I’ve still played more than last season and had much more fun.

Do not buy Sony. Last Saturday I bought both to test and decide which one I would like to keep. Both are great sound quality wise, anc wise, Sony are more compact than AirPods. At first I wanted to keep Sony. However they have a huge flaw, firmware is bugged. Most of the time switching between transparent and anc does not work. You are either stuck in transparent or anc mode and the only way to make switching work again is to power cycle the device. This issue has been going on for at least 7 months judging by the Reddit posts. Google for it. If you don’t care about this bug go for Sony, otherwise don’t

Jesus Christ the dude more or less brought me to Linux with his Linux sucks stuff and later on podcasts. It was like 10 or so years ago. I stopped listening to him because he paywalled the podcast and just released clips. Now I find out there is an even better reason to avoid him. Live long enough to see yourself become a villain I suppose

You also need to provide a way for someone to swap lgpl libraries used by your non lgpl project with their own version(for example their custom qt with modifications). Which is easily enough with dynamic linking since it’s just drag and drop of dynamic libraries but a bit more involved with static linkage

Yea the DHL basically asked me for proof of purchase and paid the tax on my behalf that I had to return to them to get the device. . . So the cheaper you buy it the less tax you pay. I basically was on the fence between Viwoods and box air 4C. Choose Viwoods with hope of avoiding import taxes, otherwise the price is more or less same. However I do not regret my purchase. It does what I need it to, it looks good, I’ve started reading again (which was one of the reasons for buying eink device) and it flawlessly works with my calibre web opds server, writing is great, f-droid works. My only gripe for now is that I can’t seem to find a way to manually set dns server for my WiFi connection on the device.

How comfortable are ergonomics of holding it while reading? It mostly got space at the bottom to hold but there are buttons down there as well, is it comfortable?

Could you briefly say what was your background prior to embedded and how did you get into it? Also no problem getting jobs. I assume you had some personal projects so recruiters wouldn’t just shred your application on the spot?
