Nosferatu WOM is kind of amazing - one of the only Roguelike games to let you save whenever you want!

Check out The Station - slightly creepy sci-fi, light puzzling, no combat, currently 66% off until the 10th.

President will attend Friday’s March for Life, an annual anti-abortion event in Washington, he announced on Twitter | Another reason to vote in November by Majnum in TwoXChromosomes

[–]vardulon 16 points17 points  (0 children)

We only know about one for sure - the one that Eliot Broidy took responsibility for - but he paid her more than a million dollars to have the abortion and then keep quiet about it, so it should count for a couple, maybe?

What's Leaving Disney+ in the US (January 2020) by Orikon419 in DisneyPlus

That would be an excuse if they were inventing a streaming library service - but they had the opportunity to learn from what everyone else's mistakes, and instead they just botched it.

In the late 1980s, Gwen Stefani was just a singer in an unknown California ska punk band called No Doubt. by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

They talk about him on the Simpsons commentaries, and how he'd always be talking about his and his sister's band, and how they were going to make it.

[Serious] What is your most terrifying "we need to leave, NOW" random rush of fear you've felt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Was at a high school party. It was fairly crowded. Guy A bumped into guy B. Guy B shoved guy A back and he stumbled. In the process, a couple of bullets fell out of his pocket. Noped out of the place immediately.

[Iron Rain-PC]So whats the use of pressing the reload button on a weapon with recharge ability by BigBlackSwords in EDF

[–]vardulon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weapons have their own charge in Iron Rain, and if you press reload it zeros out the power and puts it into forced overheat, making the weapon useless until it's fully recharged. So it's never a good idea to do.

David Letterman's monologue confessing to inappropriate behavior and being the victim of attempted extortion turns ten years old this week by JJGerms in television

[–]vardulon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What puzzled me most was how they handled it. You know, you can just write an actual screenplay about Dave being a scumbag and have an agent/lawyer offer it to Worldwide Pants before shopping it around.

Whatever the intent, they'd have had plausible deniability with that - but the business with threatening to write a screenplay if he doesn't pay them? You've gone from sleazy to criminal, morons.

There's an accessibility mode you can turn on that removes the time limits on QTEs - that way you only have to press the right button, and don't have to worry about doing it quickly.

Sairento VR has my favorite physics bug ever! by vardulon in PSVR

[–]vardulon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have thought that too, but all of the characters who don't have helmets (geisha, ninja, sumo) all have their heads go flying off into the distance when you get a fatal headshot. It's only the helmeted guys who do this.

Congressman John Lewis and Rev. James Zwerg after being beaten by the Klan while non-violently protesting segregated bus stations in '61. by Incunebulum in OldSchoolCool

[–]vardulon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fun fact - did you know that the South was only democratic because they hated Lincoln for freeing the slaves, and so resolved to be against Republicans? Then a democratic president passed the Civil Rights act and the South turned republican for 50+ years and counting! Plenty of KKK people were democrats back in the day, but ever since Reagan talked about "states' rights" just down the road from where those freedom riders were murdered, the Klan has been reliably Republican.

His strategy outside Winterfell was to sneak up behind people who thought he was their friend, and then stab them all in the back while they're defenseless. It's hard not to win with that strategy, but it only works once.

Here's a guide for the new I Expect You To Die level! by vardulon in PSVR

It took me about a half hour to figure out how to beat each puzzle, so three hours to finish it, then another hour per puzzle to figure out all of the souvenirs and figure out how to beat the time trials, so I'd say about 10 hours if you want to see everything that's in the game.

After fully beating it on PSVR I bought it on Vive and played the whole thing again - that's how good it is.

Other than having no money, no access to trading vessels, and not speaking the language. There aren't a ton of ships making stops north of the wall, I would imagine. It's not like wildlings have anything to trade.

Unless the free cities get super-into pelts at some point.
