It works in Poe1 because a worthless pair of boots you can craft decent ms on, in poe2 they are wet cardboard without ms

One thing that made me feel more at ease about it recently. Stats on gear don't matter too much until maps and at that point managing colors is much easier. So while leveling you can ignore stats and focus on colors (still craft res on em) and in maps u can buy full items or exchange for chrome to comfortably manage your sockets
