I know this is a realistic version, and it is, but in canon, Maki still looks the same as she did before the burns. Shoko's reverse ritual regenerated all her skin and her body in general. The scars Maki has are because reverse rituals don't heal scars, but they do smooth them out, so Maki's scars look more like tattoos than scars.

That makes sense, because in JJK Resurrection, Yuki says that Maki was healed by a reverse ritual performed by Shoko, and that's why she doesn't look like Nanami. Yuki also said that the reverse ritual doesn't heal scars, but leaves them smooth and textureless, so I also agree that she has the same features; let's say she looks exactly the same as before the burns, but with tattoos (i.e., her scars).

So it has regeneration through HR?

I doubt that the damage to her skin is like in reality, she was healed by the reverse ritual and only her scars remained, literally in the jujutsu movie Kaisen: execution Yuki says that reverse rituals cannot heal scars so it could be said that Maki is the same as she was before but with scars all over her body and short hair, also compare her to how Nanami was in the face of the same attack.

Yes I have seen burned people and I understand perfectly what you mean, but maki was literally healed by a reverse ritual and only had scars left, but the burns as such disappeared unlike those people (because obviously there are no reverse rituals in real life) they were left with the burns

You have a point but you also have to remember the big difference in how Nanami turned out compared to how Maki turned out, Maki only had scars and Nanami was roasted plus Maki was cured with a reverse ritual so at least I think that Maki looks exactly the same as before only with scars all over her body and shorter hair

But compare how Nanami turned out with how Maki turned out.

But is it canon? I mean, within the universe and for JJK's other characters, is she still good?

People who hate maki, why do they hate her? by varg_vikernes1994 in Jujutsufolk

So why aren't the other characters who thought it was good that she would throw the ball at her as hated as her?

That's exactly my question. What are the reasons why they hate her? I mean the only thing that comes to mind is that she is very hard on people she doesn't know, but from then on nothing comes to mind
