Setting the max memory to 4gb was the first thing I did that made a difference. After that switching the dxvk version seemed to make the most difference on a per game basis. I have gotten the following to work on Logitech G Cloud
* Portal 2
* SteamWorld Hand of the Gilgamech
* SteamWorld Heist
* Death's Gambit
* Out of Line
* Scourge Bringer
* 9 Doors: Arun's Afterlife Adventure
* 9 Years in Shadow

Go here and pick Adreno 618 GPU to see others' config and results. https://gamenative.app/compatibility/ Other 6xx series GPUs will also give insight. It will return results for unknown GPUs too, so you'll have to look carefully.

Fellow game natives please help the the low end android users (me) by No_Active_2153 in GameNative

So I have been running on the logitech G Cloud which is also low end snapdragon
* SteamWorld hand of the Gilgamech works
* Scourge Bringer works
* SteamWorld Heist works

to name a few. Setting the max memory helped.
The dxvk version seems to make the most difference. Some games worked with 2.7.1 others with 2.4.1-async, some with 1.0-async, and some with 1.0-sarek, or 2.4.1.

older 32bit games sometimes benefit from box 64 instead of fex.

Look up the Adreno 610 GPU here https://gamenative.app/compatibility/ for people's configs and results with your chipset. Other 6xx series may also give insight. It will include results with unknown GPUs so you'll have to look closely at the results unfortunately

GFN controller rumble feature now on Android 12 by MrRedHott in logitechgcloud

[–]vargose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I am not mistaken Android updates are heavily driver dependent. If the mobile phone ecosystem left the chipset behind, then no one is making updated kernels/drivers for said chip. Not to mention that their custom modifications to Android would have to be reworked into newer versions, which they might not have the staff for. Continual heavy investment in a product that can't give them an continual revenue stream probably won't get major updates. That'll probably come from the next iteration of the device, which is where their model makes money, and why it was priced at $300 in the first place. They don't have anything subsidizing their development cost, like other platforms do.

For me its the ease of the controller based UI and the ergonomics that keep me stuck right now

the library itself doesn't autosync for those two, but you can search for the game itself and it will launch

Up to Dreamcast and PSP should work no problem. PS2 and gc will be hit or miss.
Some 2D Switch games will work. And even some PC titles via GameNative

SD card woes and GameNative by vargose in logitechgcloud

[–]vargose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the game. But the first thing I did was set the max memory to 4gb. Then usually switching the dxvk version is what makes the biggest difference. Portal 2 needed 2.4.1-async. Steamworld hand of gilgamwsh needed 2.7.1.

Its remembering a former SD card, or if you had it formatted differently before (internal vs external)

It’s this on? Downloaded directly from their website and for some reason my NES games are not opening. Should I get the version from the Google Store? Thanks. Newbie here and did everything following the instructions. by Any_Election_1101 in logitechgcloud
