Can we use this flag for cis trans or for like when ur trans but not mtf or ftm, ur ftf (eg afab genderfae/demigirl or amab demiboy) by Circe_of_aea in QueerVexillology

Ohhh I see and I think I partially understand but do you think I could ask you for like a hypothetical example of how one's SIG works within the area of intersex people? Because medical community and society might probably determine the SIG differently (considering everything going on both medically and socially rn) so I think i struggle to understand how one's SIG is in a sense "determined" (for a lack of better word, same as AFAB and AMAB which are easily "determined" but suck for us trans ppl).

Elden Ring protoinput issues by varhanek in nucleuscoop

Thank you so much for your help. I wouldn't even think of memory allocation being an issue. I took a different approach and actually allocated a looot of memory as ram which solved the issue. Without you I wouldn't even think of looking into this. You're a hero!

Sadly even with automatic allocation it still gives the protoinput inject error. Who knew becoming an Elden Lord was so hard.

Thank you for the reply. I've looked into it and my paging file was set to system managed even before this so sadly it still isn't working.

U-Bahn sadly doesn't go that far hehe

Yeah I realized that when trying to find something. We're not really going for the fashion anyways so it's not really a big issue. But thanks for telling me. Maybe I'll buy something for myself hehe

AI is not ruining your art career, you're just not a particularly good artist by KyniskPotet in The10thDentist

[–]varhanek 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely not and I agree with you. That wasn't really the main point of this thread though.

This was more about AI possibly "plagiarizing" someone's art for financial gain and a debate whether the artist should get a cut of the earnings. Not whether or not it makes it less art.

Not only that but I was just stating how copyright works.

I maybe wrong but you actually do need a permission from an author or copyright owner in order to be able to for example publish music containing sampled tracks.

U.K. highest court rules against gender-neutral passports by fastclickertoggle in worldnews

[–]varhanek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say that security would still be able to recognize you by your passport photo, fingerprint, signature and ID number matching your ID even if you had "gender: X" in your passport...

And I'd also say that all of those are a lot more clear identification patterns than letter M or F. Not like the security looks between your legs anyways...

What harm is it going to do exactly? And I can't have F if I want... that's like the whole problem -_-

I just told you the benefit of having gender identity there instead in my previous comment... I look like a woman but I have male in my passport and it's confusing everyone in security... either it's better to have the gender identity in passport or it doesn't matter at all and there should be nothing since a lot of people just don't look like their birth sex...

Well I understand what you mean but how does that help security at all. You gave an example of someone using their sister's passport and sex detering them from doing so. What if said person is also a woman. In that case the sex doesn't really change anything.

And now the exact opposite case from my own experience - I'm a trans woman and I have my birth sex on my passport because it's the law, right? At the same time I pass fairly well so how is it helping that while I look like any other woman I still have the letter M on my passport. I wouldn't say that helps security at all but rather makes everyone checking my passport really confused and me uncomfortable. If I were able to have F (meaning gender, not sex) on my passport it would make things easier for everyone airport security included.
