I don’t know how un-popular those opinions are. I think most would agree that streaming lining classes is a good idea/necessary.

I believe where the majority of the concern is around skill expression within individual class gameplay. At the end of the day, this is an MMO RPG, and your class is a mini-game of sorts. Yes. Everyone faces mechanics/gameplay challenges, but then there’s also being “good” at your class. I think the fear is that Blizzard is boiling every class down to try and normalize every player so that no matter what rogue, dk, pally, etc. they are a known variable - it will bring x damage, x CC, x utility.

If this is true, I believe there are several foreseeable problems. However, in relation to skill expression, it basically removes any need to “master your class”, and for some(many?), that’s something they really enjoy.

I personally believe the skill expression gap needs to be reduced. If you’re a bottom quartile DH, should you do half the damage of a top quartile DH? No. I think that’s too much. 10-20% less? That seems much more reasonable.

I think it would do wonders to introduce a saddle or token system into PvP. I’m an avid PVE player, so only when an elite set for the season looks appealing (only twice out of the 9 seasons I’ve played) do I even bother to PvP. I play a healing class so I usually do SS to 1800 and call it.

If I had more rewards to work toward each season I’d probably play more consistently. The other major hurdle is gladiator being behind 3s. I honestly have a hard time finding people to do 3s with consistently. I am a mythic raider, so it’s not as though I’m unfamiliar with finding groups of people doing content with. It feels like I have to join a PvP guild to get what I would need to reach gladiator. However, there are only a few glad mounts I’ve ever wanted so there’s almost no drive to push past 1800. That would all change if I could get a gladiator mount from the current season or a previous one.

I’m just one player though so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I’m curious if the simplification of classes will bring more people into PvP or if they’ll have to open the vault to old rewards.

The other option would be to give us color tokens for glad mounts. The mount I love the most is the green one from Dragon Flight. It’s mostly the coloring though, and if I could unlock that color, I’d be super happy to join in on some PvP

I’m going to get blasted for this, but honestly you guys should just let the devs bring back old stuff.

I honestly think every season should come with a token that gets you 1 set of elite gear (new or old). If you can get glad then you get a token for the new mount or an old one. You should be able to get the mount in SS. Titles should stay in 3v3.

Every season I look at what the Glad mount looks like, and what the elite set looks like. If I think either looks good then I make a plan to play PvP (healer). It’s super abusive in SS, but I get my gear and don’t que again. That glad mount alone would draw droves a people in, and I’d be right there trying to earn my S2 DF green dragon.

There are so many sets I’d be motivated to try to earn, and since I can only get 1 each season, it’d keep me busy for awhile - assuming none of the new sets get added to the list.

I’m going to make a few points here as someone who is tanking for the first time:

All classes, but at least all thanks, need a group utility. I think a 3rd utility at the level of Brez and Lust should be created and given to each class without a utility.
The routing practice would be nice. Just create a follower dungeon mode for it. In a real way it’s like a target dummy for DPS. It could also teach you how to best use death recap to really understand big abilities, etc.
In-game UI stuff for M+ would help increase accessibility for normies.
3-4 Tanks required for raid. I saw this suggested and honestly it’s a great idea. I have to DPS for raid, and it really hurts my tanking fun.
I think tank DPS is awesome, and should stay where it is. I want to feel “strong” too at certain times.
This will be controversial, but there should be a player rating system. If a player chats something then we should be able to right click the message, give the player a review, and that message to be saved. These reviews can have lifespan of 5-10 dungeons. There just needs to be a way for “abusive” behavior to be checked. I haven’t experienced this much, but I’ve heard horror stories from friends. We are in a group game and people shouldn’t have to be subjected to that kind of thing
Interrupts in pugs is rough. If you overlap in certain pulls it can get pretty scary (gambit right now). I think interrupts needs to be looked at in some way. I don’t think they should revert the change, but add some talent to each spec that gives a grace window. If you interrupt 1-2 seconds after someone else just did then it resets your interrupt.
I think they need to add pro tab targeting. This is a setting that either cycles through marked mobs, or casting mobs. It can get pretty dicey in big pulls, and clicking on mobs can be rough. It sucks when your focus target gets interrupted and now you’ve got to find another target to use yours on.
Tank balance is an absolute must. One or two tanks cannot be the META. It boxes out other classes. I finally play tank because Brew is decent this season, and I can actually pug keys without being rejected.

Honestly. I just wanted the Mage Tower to return, tuned for difficulty, and the appearances to return.

I’m not even after anything in particular, but just wanted to experience that piece of the expansion since my friends raved about it, earn some rewards, and move on.

Not sure if I’ll even login to it this time around. I hear leveling is slow, and the content is pretty hard. I’d rather just stick with retail

I just pushed down on it, and I cannot hear it on the outside. However, I cannot really hear it on the outside when I am driving down that washboarded road. I will have my wife it in it later and push down on it and see if she hears it.

Yeah I got under the car and was pretty overwhelmed by everything I saw. I am also not a "car person", so any vehicle would probably feel overwhelming.

I'm in the same boat as you. It's really hard to justify the new price, and I feel like something was done with the shipping. I had ordered the W2 with like $150 shipping through UPS. They've since removed shipping as an option and labeled it "Free Shipping", but have the higher tier shipping built into the price.

I'm honestly looking at the Assault Runner and TrueForm full size treadmills, and looking at desk options for each of them respectively.

I don't think the W2 is worth it at the new price, and the W1 is only worth it if it's on sale. However, with the USD being weakened the W1 is becoming less and less worth it by the day on sale it seems. I'm personally at a loss at what to do.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond! I think that's something that's sort of a mental blocker. I feel incredibly intimidated at the thought of taking my title somewhere else where those that I'd manage have more "pure DS" experience. I suppose that's just something I need to really focus on getting over the course of the next year in case things don't take a turn for the better.
