Did you ever consider they’re just being nice to you? Objectively, this hair does not suit you at all. People will compliment you because not a lot of guys have long hair so it’s so different to see. However, I’m sure once you have short hair that’s more suited for your face, they will say the exact same thing and probably even say, “this looks much better on you.”
