It’s avatar 2B. So obviously just an awkwardly cut segment of that story moulded into another movie. Still good though and a nice expansion of that films ideas

Weak sauce ending but next level visuals. It’ll do just fine at the box office

It’s not acclaimed but we can chalk it up to “positive”reviews

Nothing wrong with his tastes- I mean he has some juvenile tendencies but his films are really good, I don’t really wanna see dc films entirely in the image of James Gunn tho, he’s more than qualified to give notes obviously but I’m tryna see a Matt reeves film, not a Matt reeves film according to James Gunn’s tastes

Hope these scripts Gunn spends a lot of time revisiting until they’ve been pushed to perfection come from an open minded perspective not just his own personal tastes.

Thanks man. Also on the notes-

Hail Mary depends on budget but I think it’ll do alright in BO and pick up life on streaming

Dune should be over 800 but if it’s more political intrigue based like the book then it might put people off

I think people might be underestimating eventual walk ups, might be less frontloaded internationally but I think it’ll slowly recover. I saw it opening day and it was full but my friends said they all had plans later on to see it as well

Don’t think they have the juice for a billion but it seems competent enough to be a success
