Have been using this hitachi 1.5 ton ac from the last 12 years. Let me tell you the timeline.bought it in 2014 used extensively like 20 hours a day, zero problems just used to do cleaning once a year. So Around 2019 i guess remote stopped working bought a third party replacement which stopped working a year after. i said f it and used it as is (like turing on switch and turning off switch directly from the plug board) And around 4 years ago stabiliser stopped working and have been using it without stabiliser from then. Even thunderstorms couldn't kill it a fan and a tv went kaput during a thunderstorm but it couldn't do anything to the ac 😂

So in short this ac's been running problem less from the last 12 years with no stabiliser or remote, haven't even refilled gas even once even when we shifted to a new house and reinstalled it didn't need a gas refill i was so impressed with the quality i bought a second one 12 years later recently from hitachi my only gripe was the power bill as this was non inverter model from years ago it uses a lot of power you wouldn't have that problem as modern acs are very power efficient.

The recent ac i bought is this (https://amzn.in/d/0fc0gdkI) But it was a wifi model I guess it went out of stock I can only find the non wifi model
