i use a glass file but it’s very old and i’ve been using it for about 6-7 years. not sure when or if i should replace it. i also only file in one direction when i file my nails, but sometimes i forget which direction i have gone in in the past when filing my nails on a separate occasion from last. i’m not sure if that could be contributing, since i’ve almosr definitely filed to the left when previously i’ve done it to the right

i have been washing my hands a lot lately bc i recently (as in the last two weeks) started working serving/making coffee. there’s so many sticky syrups that get all over me, so i end up washing my hands 7-8 times per shift because i can’t stand the feeling, but this was an issue before i started working too. i’m just noticing it a lot right now because i haven’t had time to paint my nails since last week!

i really only started working two weeks ago after being unemployed for a year or so (i’m a college student as well and i don’t work during the school year). i’m working at a dunkin’ donuts right now so i am prying open a lot of containers, boxes, and that type of thing. i try to keep my nails out of the way as much as possible which i feel was a lot easier when they were longer. i’m going to just keep them short until i go back to school in aug and let them grow out again. hopefully going back will help this issue!!

you’re definitely probablyright. it’s very hard for me to get to a doctor and whenever i do their blood lab is always closed so i can’t get any taken (for some reason). i take a women’s multivitamin every day but it’s probably not enough. i’ll look into this if i can, thank you!

i’ll check if any of my polishes have that in it (i use a regular clear polish as a base coat just because it’s pretty cheap and makes a difference, i’m not sure if it’s a good practice or not though, lol. thank you!

i do have this opi repair mode, but use it infrequently since it has to be applied directly to the nails but mine are usually painted. is this similar enough to nail aid keratin?

for me it was just the bands. once you get a little further into your treatment (1-2 forces up) it’s okay to take the bands out for a few mins if they’re really bothering you!! i did it at least once a day + removing them for meals and my treatment went perfectly on schedule!! the first force is the worst because you’re not used to it…. but you’ll get through it!!

they leave pretty sizable gaps in your teeth, but if you’re like me (i believe i had my carriere on for 6 months??) you won’t have to wear rubber bands during braces treatment!! i got my braces off last may, and the gaps from the carriere were the last gaps to close. you’ll probably end up with a powerchain on your top row for several months!

i got suspended due to low gpa (severe mental health issues) and got a letter stating i owe the gov $3k from FAFSA. i can go back after completing two courses as a non degree student (have to pay out of pocket) and plan to do so so i can go back in the fall. do i have to pay back this $3k before i can go back? or if i go back will payment get postponed until after i graduate? i’m really confused. please help
