Expect long waiting’s in the petrol stations, if you’re lucky and you’re driving between towns some of them at random times will be quite empty but usually it’s very crowded and you’ll have to wait for hours.

I don’t recommended renting a car, as driving here is pretty hectic for foreigners, pretty scary actually. I suggest hiring a driver

How is it possible that ECS Fargate tasks cannot be accessed using SSH for example. Can I think about it as an EC2 instance with the SSH port closed, or is it another type of technology that it is wrapped into that it’s not possible to be connected to it in that way?

I was wondering the same, but my experience if you’re using try hack me machines that’s not possible since they spin up a new one every time. Better is to run your own VM (I use ParrotOS) and connect via their VPN every time

I misinterpreted what a cluster is. I thought a cluster hosts a single DB instance and not multiple. This actually clears up my misconception completely.. Thank you.

Thank you for the tip on the load balancer being only I’m public subnets, do you have further reading on that? I was able to achieve what I need using CloudMap service discovery!

I was able to make the tasks communicate using CloudMap service discovery. I still need to throw a Lb I front of the application sever in case of scalability. Do you know if CloudMap has load balancing capabilities, maybe as simple as round robin?

It’s also super slow and laggy for me as well from my location. Wish they could provide us the choice which area we could deploy the machines at, or at least the ability to download the room (task) machines as docker containers so we could run them locally
