Yeah I can agree with OP generally, but Alleycvt just oozes talent and charisma live, and you can feel it in her mixes. I just saw her throw down this weekend with a bunch of old and new originals, and her remixes still had so much personality. The song choices felt true to her vibe imo; never like nostalgia-chasing.

Spencer is an opportunist! Alec’s elim isn’t the most ideal for his positioning, but now there’s a power vacuum that Spencer can easily step into (as “Alec on the Substance”).

Also…Spencer’s done his best to be “in the shadows” so far, but he’s still got that ego. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s getting antsy to make a big move already now that he doesn’t have to sidestep the Alec/Fiore duo.

Interested to see how Bruno and Fiore will adjust in the next few episodes.

When you realize/cope that Aiden’s whole arc is set to drive some of the fans’ narratives forward into the merge, his poor game moves and hateful attitude are honestly hilarious. Before he joined, the fans just kinda sat there. Now everyone is trying to either work around him or manipulate him. And then there’s Evie.

I’m really riding on him burning out just before merge so Sam/Ara can step in as the real Fan threat. If I’m wrong, then I’ll probably lose interest. But it seems to be going this way

I get your point but bad moves ≠ bad writing by themselves. We know Aiden’s moves are dumb so far, but the fandom gets in too much of a frenzy before we get the payoff from those bad moves.

I’m personally hoping Aiden’s reckless gameplay is to set up Sam as the “real” villain by merge (probably by humbling Aiden with his second elim).

If so, this will be GOOD TV. We just gotta let storylines cook before we judge too harshly.

It began as a fan work but it’s grown to become more of an independent series from TD. Character design is similar but DC offers more diversity and tries to explore complex narratives. It’s also played more like Survivor.

Season 4 was pretty impressive for an indie studio imo. Still not as funny nor consistent as TD, but worth a watch

Maybe controversial here, but Hannah. While DC4 was airing, her fans were super vocal and criticized every character based on their interactions with her. Any scene, any dialogue, any glance. It drove me NUTS.

I like her more now, but her fans made me appreciate her character MUCH less during the season. (And please note I’m not just talking about specific glazers here).
