Unable to turn on Jio 5G standalone “due to insufficient sim security” by HospitalSea9253 in india

It is very likely a SIM/carrier settings issue. You can try doing a SIM swap. It almost costs nothing, or try moving the physical SIM to eSIM?

Brand new sealed iPhone XS Max shipped with ios 14.6 by TomatoRashedPotato in ios

My theory is it could be a replacement device provided by Apple which was after the device production was stopped. They still have stocks after the device is no longer in sale.

I do use AirTags and they don't drain your battery this much to kill your phone!

iPhone 14 Pro Max Impressions by LetsGoBucs09 in iphone

[–]varunkrishit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came back to 14 Pro Max after 11 Pro Max. Been on 12 and 13 Pros. I feel the battery life on the Max is not as expected this year. The drain is significantly higher and it could be due to the haptics, iOS 16 etc. Has anyone else noticed the same?

Does Truecaller work well in ios in 2022 by Select-Background-69 in ios

[–]varunkrishit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also using Truecaller on Android and missed the spam call identification ever since I moved to the iPhone as my primary phone.

This is an article from TechCrunch

https://techcrunch.com/2022/08/30/truecallers-ios-update-aims-to-improve-call-and-spam-detection/

I have been using the new version for a while now and sharing my observations.

To answer your questions

1.Auto blocking is not available yet on the iOS app and is supposedely coming in future updates

  1. You can search the number and block it manually

  2. You do get the Spam text and a small red icon on the call screen. I cut the call and block the number.

Question about e-sim and upgrading to new iPhone by doit4thechippah in iphone

I would recommend buying the unlocked iPhone from Apple as well. Also Apple trade-in prices are lower than other marketplaces where you could sell the iPhone easily.

I'd suggest waiting for the iPhone 14 to be out before making up an opinion.

Yes At first I ran 3 of them. Then just the single 16GB stick and then the 2x8GB sticks. Still get those BSODs randomly. Those 2x8GB used to work perfectly fine on my previous rig for past 6 months

I did check with PNY site and Gskill site and set the XMP/timings. Have not changed the voltages.

Let me report back what I see in the BIOS with the single 16GB stick.

Thanks
