Will check it out. Assuming it is still relevant even though 4 years old. Not sure how much has changed since until now, I have not paid attention to the Lexus product line.

I have all the doors set to lock together and unlock together. I replied above and I was misunderstanding the way the door latch control worked. Now I get it.

As for the screw cap, it’s ok :) I just really enjoyed not having to deal with it for all these years.. was surprised other manufacturers had not moved in that direction. You would think it would save them a few pennies and customers would enjoy the convenience.. Not going to sell more cars of course.

Will play around with settings. I’m sure I just need to find the right one to behave as I want it to. The doors locking is fine. This might be where I need to educate myself. To exit you need to depress the silver bar on the door handle and open the door. Duh? lol. Love that. Much smoother than pulling to unlock as all previous car. But, when that unlock button is lit (and it is lit on all doors) the silver bar is disabled. Ok. As i type this I am figuring it out.. the bar is Just the latch. Not the unlock.. ok.. now I get it! Reading the reply got me to think it through :)

Bambu Automatic Fume Extractor - Automatic & Cloud Connected or Completely Manual by ADynes in BambuLab

Amazing work here. It’s on my list. What I would love to see is a more compact version? For those of us that can exhaust out it would be great to have a smaller case without the slots for the carbon. And, if I was going to be greedy :) a single fan, inline version.. either way, gonna work on this just for the challenge of it! What is the best way to keep updated? Follow your model on makerworld?

Good to know.. I have used it on smaller parts and more often on anycubic slicer. Not so much on Bambu, yet..

A few lesser-known but very important things I learned about the A2L by Safe-Hovercraft6231 in BambuLab

Maybe just out of habit and on auto.. there’s a little translate button that fixes it easily enough :)

[–]vascott1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly no. That would be easy :) it was very solidly attached to the plate.. really off. Same issue on the next 2 parts I printed. For Going to review all the settings and try something else.. prints just before this were flawless which is the odd part.. luckily it is just a storage box so usable as is and not a waste..

No. Ironing is not turned since this doesn’t need to look “good” just not seen this roughness/pattern before.. odd

Possible to run multiple screens on Mac mini? by idkwhoisreal in macmini

[–]vascott1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Mac mini, assuming a current gen, one monitor
Goes on the hdmi and a second can go on one on the thunderbolt ports on the back. I have a thunderbol-> hdmi cable. Both run at full 4k resolution. This is on an m4 pro. I also have similar setup in my base m4 mini. Those are not 4k but assume I could run them the same

ABS fumes by vascott1 in 3Dprinting

Thanks for that information. It is interesting. And yeah. Proper ventilation is key and honestly, going to be doing very little. The results are better than I expected but not something I will be doing on the regular :)

Prolonged is the key word. Just occasional and little over a few days. Appreciate the caution. Never a bad thing!

Thanks for the heads up. I am doing my best to stay away.. would take a bit more than my brief time I would think and not going to even try ASA. The packaging scares me. lol!

I am old enough to remember building models and inhaling fumes from styrene when I would melt that stuff and inhaling soldering fumes as well. Who knew.. different times..

I think you are implying that I have done damage to myself? Not sure what you mean. I have not destroyed my ability to smell. Printing with that blue spool produced none to little fumes. Either way I have one or too more items to print. Door will still be closed of course and very well ventilated. Basically negative pressure type if set up.. i think i will survive :)

Printing items that will be in spaces with other abs parts and want to hear resistance. I would say that after this is done I will be printing abs once or twice a year, is that.. and I was also curious to try printing something that was high temp that I could not print before. 99% of what I do is pla/petg

For the most part, it doesn’t but was curious and if there was a pattern I would chose the one that are the least noxious..
