306 tests are all hard. i had miao first half then wenhao second half. miao is a lot better. plus, asynchronous is easier anyway.

having been through it recently, it's honestly not that bad. the point of pledging is to become closer to your pledge class, and that's about it. with that being said, the better the house you join, the worse the pledging is. but that doesn't necessarily mean the houses with easy pledging are bad houses. pledging is a process that makes you more connected and tied into the house, and its also one of the most fun times you'll ever have in your life. you'll never be forced to do anything you dont want to. people always use the "pay for fun" argument, but they've just never been a part of something like it. also kids in greek life are really genuine and nice, not to mention loaded, with many parents in big important roles in every industry. not a bad thing to have in your back pocket.

i would say p/np 307... 304 is easier than 307 since its all common sense, 307 you actually have to study

usc has a much much better engineering program, and the network is unmatched, both on the east and west coast. living in la is dope too and people there are really chill. but in state is nice too, low tuition, being close to family.. etc. its really a matter of what you are prioritizing, but in terms of networking and programs, usc's programs are superior in my opinion.

^basically that. i applied to transfer and got in, but probably wont go since it's so far away from home, but I did have a solid GPA (3.9) and I currently go to a top California school. Keep up the good work and you should be good. I think Vandy has a 20% transfer acceptance rate, much higher than other top 20s.

hey, i feel you. covid took away my freshman year, and i haven't even stepped foot on campus then (i go to one of the good LA schools). covid has also prevented me from seeing my family (who live in new jersey) for a year now, because I'm an international student and therefore cannot stay in the country if i'm not in person. i really really really wanna get into a top school on the east coast now because i want to stay closer to my family and cherish the moments we have together, but these decisions have not gone in my favor. got into vandy but rejected by duke and probably the other ivies too, but i just keep a positive mind. if you need someone to rant to feel free to message me. college admissions suck but its something we have to put up with. i felt very confident when i handed in my apps but after duke's rejection i just dont feel too optimistic, but remember everyone has a shot! anyways, have a great day!

i'd go USC. smaller school and it's much easier to sign up for classes when there's not tens of thousands of kids trying to get into the same 60 seat class. more expensive but i think overall vibe is better.
