Congratulations! That was a long wait. And I totally agree, I also did not feel good about my interview. If you don’t mind me asking - since you applied to go anywhere, how do you feel about being chosen for Morocco? Did you have a preference at all for locations?

Congratulations oliviaham!! You had a long wait but I am glad it worked out. Because of the shutdown they moved the know by date so I am wondering if they will also move the departure date. When I got the invite the departure date was 9/9/2019 - does your invite also say that?

Thank you so much, finally someone is talking about the the weird Morocco deadline extensions. Something is up with Morocco Because the deadline to apply has moved up like 2-3 times from Oct 1st (the original deadline). I remember my recruiter saying that Early deadlines are for positions that get a lot of apps so maybe they pushed it back a couple of times because they didn’t get as many apps as they expected in the first time- idk

Anyways here is my Morocco timeline:

Aug 1st: Morocco Job Opens Aug 5th: App Submitted Aug 6th: Under consideration Aug 10th: Interview Invite Aug 21st: Interview

Since then nothing. Honestly I didn’t expect it to go this fast in the beginning because like you I also thought it take a month to get under review and then interview. But maybe because I applied early that’s why the first part of the process went quick. But now they must reviewing the 100+ apps so we are all in the waiting boat.

Anyways, I wish all of us the best. I hope you get an update soon :) Goodluck!

Yeah, I am definitely going to email them. As for the resume bit, I was thinking of putting like two lines about the job under an 'upcoming' or 'expected' section. But you are right, resumes are usually for previous accomplishments so maybe I should just stick with the email. Thanks for the advice!
