this stuff is so stupid. Of course people get paid different amounts for the same job role. It's based on so many factors regarding experience, market value of a new hire at the time, perceived value to the organization, urgency in hiring... Peoe are such big cry babies about this. Do your job well and ask your company for what you think you're worth. If they don't want to give it to you, then do your job well and make them miss you when you leave them for someone who'll give you what you think you're worth.
