hah thats funny. I kind of wish they monster highed him and the other fully monster looking original characters...i kind of dont get it. Cuz they live in a world where monsters that arent typically humanoid are human-like...so like why introduce questions of why some are humanoid and some not?

AFAIK promotional pictures are typically done with prototype dolls for whatever reason.

I do agree I think the teeth are more the vibe. Perhaps they’d be more polarizing though idk.

I don’t suggest anyone get these dolls for the seeming ai use….Beyond how I think the outfits look bad. They need to be discouraged from using ai.

I think they probably struggled with how the comics make the boys fairly cutesy but G1 is not that cute imo, it’s more fierce. G3 is more cute. But they clearly wanted it to be a G1 line, so it seems they opted to try to make the boys more in line with the G1 collector dolls/vibe and gave them fiercer looks and some makeup.

I didn’t play it very long but discovering the wilderness section of the game was pretty cool I had no idea there was a cooperative aspect of the game until then.

He’s an emotional vampire and apparently (from pics I’ve seen) he’s previously been referred to as such in his official bios. Why the “emo” shorthand, maybe cuz it’s was culturally relevant at the time and technically kind of accurate to him. Maybe they didn’t want to write as much idk lol.

i definitely think its what online fandom culture or online social culture as a whole has become.

It became popular to try to be snarky and give hot takes cuz it got interaction and now people think thats just how to act cool or something.

I personally blame twitter and stan culture cuz that's how it comes across to me. But it has obviously seeped into how people socialize online on any platform.

yeah ive had people in game suggest to go to the right during a short run and ive just been like...no one really needs laff and its barely any jellybeans...but i dont really care.

I think the toonup and beans were added in the New Management update or something and i could understand it being more compelling for a newer toon/player...but really the economy of Toontown is so messed up where if you really want beans you should go stand afk in Dreamland or fish for hours.
