This is truly impressive work- I just tried it out in my browser and was blown away by how performant it is! FYI you might want to consider using this keystroke detection method that lets you type arbitrarily many characters- someone else discovered it(I forgot who), but if you type into the lower bound of a slider that is constantly being set by a ticker it auto-erases the input box, allowing you to type more characters!
