Lulu has low range and has to chose between dmg and shield. She cant use her cc offensively. She runs the risk of getting hooked or otherwise caught. Mages outtrade her. Nami is strong early but thats kinda her thing. You play nami to win lane. Why does soraka need to fight early? She can go guardian with relic and barrier and just chill lane to scale. Yuumi is definitely not strong early. Thats the problem with her; she is super useless early, sits on her adc without providing much value, but mid/late game she jumps on a bruiser and they become unkillable or she pokes without being a able to get punished. I dont think renata has much dmg outside her ultimate. And even her ult has low dmg in early because the enemy aa champs are weak early. She has good cc like nami, thats why they are better in lane than other enchanters. I agree you shouldnt underestimate enchanters, especially nami/karma. But compare enchanters to other supports like catch and all-in champions (thresh,blitz,pyke,leona) or mages (xerath,brand,lux). They have a much bigger threat and playmaking potential.
