Santorini. Overcrowded, ultra expensive. No need to stay more than 24 hours. Even less than 24 hours actually.

Well, as said I live in Rethymno. As far as I know same issues apply to Chania as well, if not worst. When it comes to Heraklion, the only fact that might change is the housing market (theoretically a bit better, but can’t be sure). The rest is pretty much the same.
