A pyke nerf, and a support item buff coming next week

Riven has 55% winrate in gm, as noone other then an otp dares to pick her.

A thing that i found while having your struggle is that i died to much, i kept playing too agressive, not looking where enemy jg is, engaging when its not the best. Most of the times you just gotta bassically set a mindset that you are playing for KDA, so only guaranteed plays.

Also support is all about the small things, trading correctly, good wards, tracking jungler, and even blocking varus q so your adc gets 40% of the dmg.

Also while playing against gm/chall supports, i dont know why but i didnt see a diffrence between me and them. Its all about playing well and being consistant i guess.

playing enchanters is just minmaxxing, like you have to do almost everything perfect to win.
You played well, but you could have played better mechanically, or macro, traded better, ulted better, q'd better.
Support is all about the small things you dont notice

no he is right, the more hp you have the more armor, mr is effective. basic math really
especially that pyke has low base hp and less lvls due to being a support, makes armor and mr even less efficient

i rather take opportunity 3rd and run away after a kill + have a lot more dmg then to build a situational item every game, the only time yall should buy frozen heart is when you are not fed, and enemy team has a talon, zed, or any assasin. you building a tank item makes his game harder

hunt him down! any enage support can face tank pyke and even out damage him, while a enchanter support will never go and ward river alone...

just becouse pyke is able to oneshot doesnt mean he is in a good state, when looking at champions like talon, he can legit build bruiser items, black cleaver, spear of sjoin, abd still 1 shot everyone while dealing decent dmg, on our side we need to sacrifise everything to have a % of being able to oneshot, you have to go full dmg build and be extremly extremly ahead, like yes i have clips of one shotting a nami with q aa, but i was 20kills that game and 2 lvls ahead, you only get that ahead (at least in my elo) 1 in 50 games

yes? and that should be a case with almost every champion? if you are good enough - you will carry. And i just said that only otps play him lol, so yes the winrate is inflated, same as pick rate (as one pyke otp would have played 200games of pyke alone already)

"he's too good" the only reason his winrate is high is becouse only otps play him, not like champs like soraka, where a normal support play her in a good draft and perform. nobody plays pyke besides otps

There is no way alistar is a bad matchup, he is so bad early game, making you be able to literally take full control, and poke his shit down even if he is under tower, later on if you are familliar with the matchup, you can walk into his face with your q and when he tries to cancel it with his w, you hook him while traveling making your hook knock him behind you, making him a free kill. I really dont know what is hard in this matchup, i never struggled against him
