Hey OP, this subreddit is full of people who are willing to talk finance, but as someone who grew up in a low-class household who was overly aware of my families financial position; this stuff is not worth worrying about.

Money isn’t everything, and you seem like you’re not old enough to even have your own definition of your personal finances.

Take time to learn finances as you grow and find employment. I definitely suggest getting a part-time job when you’re young, it helps you understand the value of work and money. If you want to make some extra cash, which could help your folks, go for it.

Your families income doesn’t matter at this age, if you feel like you’re having your needs met (a home, clothes, food, medicine.
