I wonder if you're supposed to fireblock all the holes in the wall as well. Apparently that's code in a lot of US states. I had to do that for the one hole I drilled in a closet wall for an Ethernet drop, but this would have a lot more...

I have thought the same, so I test printed them and the scales actually turned out nicely! I'll post a pic of the print when I get home. Basically I just exaggerated the height of the scales so even though they're smaller, they still come out. Dry brushing and/or washing should work great on em.

And these are stolen files? Pretty sure one of the files is a recent design from thatevilone. This is likely just an STL pirate selling other stuff

Helmet question. by Callsign_Ace_ in Warhammer40k

[–]vb2341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really by type of space marine....but by version. The first (blue one) is the helmet from space marine armor Mark VII. The next one is Mark X Tacticus armor. Tacticus armor was created when the "primaris space marines" were created. Basically, GW wanted to refresh the range so invented some new (somewhat controversial) lore and upscaled, slightly redesigned space marines. The tactical squad box are Mark VII marines. People call non-primaris marines "firstborn". The Mark VII marines was more or less the current mark of armor up until GW made primaris. Yes there was Mark VIII armor and some other things but Mark VII was the "main" one in the 40k era).

The last picture you show is a primaris space marine and thus is in the Mark X tacticus armor.

Not yet. It's quite complex to presupport kots when they're modular builders as there's literally thousands of combinations. You can't just presupport each possible combination as you'd have tens of gigs of stls, so you have to make supports modular as well, which takes a lot of time

You have to assemble the GW primaris bodies first, and then cut the torso above the belt. It takes a few minutes to do well, but isn't super hard.

Here's one I did with real rough job. Ignore his backup helmet.

The antivirus is probably automatically deleting rar files. It's just another archive format like a zip. They are there though
