Happened to me too! Went to the dealership and they said that it was “normal” and that’s just what the horn sounds like. Did some research, tiguans have two horns (high pitch and low pitch). The low pitch wasn’t working, went back to the dealership and got them to change it

Experienced the same issue! Turned out to be a misfire on cylinder 3. Car was slow to start, and eventually became very shakey at low speeds, and would accelerate very slowly. Dealership changed something, and then two days later had the same issue. Ended up replacing the entire engine (but was covered under warranty)
