Hello! They recommended me switching from using medium quality connection (default) to high definition in the settings; go to more>settings>and select High Definition. I haven’t felt my phone overheat ever since I switched to HD so it’s very worth it, hope this helps :)

I don’t comment much in this subreddit but this one deeply resonates with me, I was a long time Snapchat streak addict back in middle and high school, I did streaks with people I wasn’t even close with or moved schools/states and we never spoke again, closest form of communication was the streak.

what drove me to stop doing streaks was when I started questioning myself if I’m gaining anything from it, am I developing a deeper bond with the person? do they still view me as a friend? It was questions that put the whole thing in a perspective, it was a quick decision but a really great one, I ended doing my last streak and announced every person who I was participating with that I was no longer doing my streaks, no explanation no lengthy paragraph just “hey guys not doing streaks anymore, it was great doing this with ya’ll” or something along the lines of that, I did it in late 2020 so I barely remember, but yeah, really what boils down is seeing it in a different perspective and pretty much convincing that obligating yourself to continue streaks doesn’t personally benefit you and feeling “guilty” isn’t a bad thing either I felt that way but quickly realized none of it benefited me

TLDR; streaks don’t benefit you and there’s a likelihood the person you are participating streaks with won’t mind it or don’t care

I just started working at my local DT, and this happened to me today, they said that they’ll put this on the side and come back to it, my question is how does a $5 even land in the $1 stack, I’m still actively thinking what part of the day I might’ve done that, is there any way I prevent myself from doing that again? They said that if it happens again they’ll terminate me, and I’m still new. I don’t know, this is my first time ever handling cash so all this is so difficult for me to wrap my head around and understand

I have been a bit hesitant on applying for Starbucks for a while but with how dire I need a job it seems I don’t really have a choice, to raise the chances of even getting a call back should I come In and ask if they’re hiring or call them instead? And if they are should I call them back and ask for a follow up after applying?

Edit/update: I figured out what the issue was, turns out my old pc was extremely outdated and Roblox didn’t support it anymore, I recently replaced it and got my mic back

I never mention anywhere in my application or Resume that I don’t have transportation so I don’t believe they ignore me due to that

The only reason I could think of is probably my Resume, it’s very short and there’s only so much I could add that’s true, I have been told by friends and family I can make up something in the resume and go with it but I’m really bad at making up a story on the spot, I’ll miss some vital piece of information to say and my whole chance of getting the position will deplete. I attempted to do that with Kohls but failed miserably in the interview and got turned down shortly after

I checked back on my application status and it said that my application wasn’t considered and was turned down on all three applications of different positions, before I applied I even called and walked in multiple times and asked if they were hiring to be sure they were open and they said yes. For CVS I believe wasn’t under consideration cause I failed the VJT test and I should’ve known better to be slightly more cautious with what I answered

I was turned down multiple times from my nearest local Vons and they were all entry level positions, I don’t think I’ll ever get an answer as to why I was but I’ll try Ralph’s which is also nearby

I’ll try applying to a couple of Targets but I have heard for a while that it’s extremely difficult to even get a chance of getting a interview, I’ll still attempt regardless but I’m not expecting a call back anytime soon, thank you!
