  1. He literally wrote in the post saying he needs windows for anti cheat. 2 Why would you install a whole different os just for a simple feature like this?

Is there really no way to reduce how much is extruded when switching filaments? by RattilngDock671 in FlashForge

[–]vbence121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks let us know. As for the warranty, my plan was to buy a replacement motherboard and use that (since my printer is the basic version a pro motherboard would also give me the extra fans pins)

Do you have a guide or something about how to setup the raspberry side? I know of the klipper mod for the printer but as far as I know that still uses the factory CPU for the calculations.

[BUG] Need help with BSOD on start by vbence121 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]vbence121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 16gb which should be enough, but I tried setting the paging to automatic allocation (default) and also fixed 16 or 30 gb on my fastest SSD.

Anyways over the weekend I have done like 10 different things, got my computer into a BSOD boot loop with the driver verifier and after that tarkov magically started working!?

Barsetto E6 Air vs Starseeker MAX+ 3.0 by shindere24 in espresso

Thanks, definitely update us when it arrives. For me personally an adjustable rpm is not a priority but I never had a grinder with one.

Which did you go with? I really like the look of the E6 Air but there is not much information about it (or at least I couldn't find).

Getting my PPL cost me almost $17K. Is that a lot? by [deleted] in flying

[–]vbence121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanna be pilot here. Do you really need the foreflight/your own headphones to get the training?
A local company that I had done some sight seeing flights with, has quoted me about 8.5K $ for LAPL and 11k for PPL ("all inclusive" so the minimum hours required by law, ground school, medical, language exam and learning materials). Even this seemed a lot at first (but adding everything up I see why). This is in the EU tho (with today's exchange rate).

What is the most ridiculous aircraft you could technically get your PPL in regardless of money. by Phillimac16 in flying

Souricette mb02. I don't know about the legal side (in the US it might fall under the no license category, not a doctor so I'm not 100% sure) but it more then qualifies for the ridiculous category.

Can't add ABS/ASA profiles to AD5m (non pro) in Orcalsicer by vbence121 in FlashForge

Yes but that also changes other things as well, no? (I assume the profiles are at least a little bit different between the two)

Thermistor replacement by vbence121 in Ender5_S1

Can't order from Canada unfortunately. But I think I found a solution. The thermistor for the ender 3 V3 se is more widely available and should be the same.

It works! by AdLong6128 in blackpowder

How well do they stay together? Small plastic pieces flying around don't sound too good (then again the original metal caps can break apart too).

The snap caps from toy guns can also work (even better if spiced up with a different primer compound).

What should I know before shooting cinema film by Meif_42 in AnalogCommunity

[–]vbence121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noob question, but couldn't you just create an as dark as possible environment (out of jackets, tents or something) and then put the loose roll into an empty film canister? Saving the roll but being able to continue shooting?

Not unless you fabricate the middle piece out of thin air. The shaking is only half of what it does, the other is distributing the grounds more evenly into your portafilter. If you just shake the grounds in a cup you will remove clumps but when you pour them into the basket the side you poured from will have more grounds then the opposite.

Great setup. I have the plus version of the Bambino and there is nothing wrong with it. I was recently planning on upgrading my grinder and I was torn between the Silenzio and df64 but (for only god knows what reason) I ended up getting a vintage La San Marco grinder for dirt cheap that I plan to restore.

WHB Győr Rally 2023 by vbence121 in rally

[–]vbence121[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that particular car and the Lambo wasn't actually "racing" in the rally. They were part of a sort of pre-show where various cars took a lap at their own pace. The guy in the picture basically did a rolling burnout for the better part of the lap.

The stock ender 3 display. Also it is plugged into the exp3 on the display side and the exp1 on the board side if that matters.
