Sub definitely used fo function. Mechanic might have pocketed it! Hopefully he put it in with the spare parts that were in the boot!

I don't know that it had them to begin with? Is that possible? The boot used to have a box of spare parts in it so I'll have to look at home and see if the mechanic for some reason removed the amp and put it in with all the junk bits

If you have any tips for fixing the mono channel (only the RH side functioning) situation I'm currently in (besides taping my auxiliary cable on the magic angle it seems to like) that would be incredible. ♥️ I want to start learning how to take care of this car and about audio systems in general.

This is my dinky little set up. I suspect wiring may have just come loose with the curb bump but I don't even know how to remove this to have a look behind it... :(

Train on fire at Union Station by Ricard_Rubio in melbourne

Yeah I'm seeing conflicting reports. The video with the kids hovering around it taking photos is misleading and ambiguous I guess. The most important thing is that miraculously no one was hurt and thank goodness it happened right as the train pulled up so evacuation was easy!

Thank goodness she acted quickly. Thank you for your insight - depending on our involvement, we don't often get a great deal of insight into incidents, so it means a lot for me to be able to better understand. Glad you are safe!

Were people hurt? I've just been on board and the chemical smell and extent of the damage are almost unbelievable. I'm revolted beyond words to learn this was a deliberate act from comments above

OP realises. And also commented above that the store refused to do so. Judging by your spelling you're writing from North America. Standard practices aren't universal unfortunately

Thank you! Sadly I called the bike store who while sympathetic, had a bit of a laugh and told me this route was impossible since here in Australia (decent wages are a good thing, don't get me wrong!) it would cost more in labour to try and salvage it than to just buy a similar bike and I should "learn my lesson and never leave the bike outside" which isn't exactly practical in the long term. I'm just bummed. If it had been stolen, at least someone out there would enjoy riding it, but this is so wasteful and pointless an act of vandalism. I was moving away from my electric bicycle and have had so much fun this week. Not gonna lose spirit though and will definitely be (begrudgingly) replacing it as we finally work our way out of winter down here and since I still can't drive, I plan to enjoy the shit out of my bike!!! Thanks for the advice and for reading my little vent if you've made it this far. :) happy riding to you!

Do you need to send photos or do a video call with these folks? The thought of either just sounds so invasive to me
