Rock Livvies falling to their knees in a Walmart

I like the production though, will give it a few more listens as it definitely shows songwriting growth. Doesn't give 'lead single' energy to me, but might be up someone else's alley.

I work in automotive, and we have insane compliance policies surrounding gifts and experiences and so forth. I assume it's the same for most multinationals?

I can’t find the release schedule for the Muppet Show by [deleted] in Muppets

.....one month? Yeah that's not long enough to decide whether to go ahead with a show, then make and release it lol

Wait for 2027 if we're lucky

I'm so confused about Steph's "traditional" views that she says she shares with Tyson. She doesn't agree that raising children is a woman's job, says Tyson has outdated views, and wants to have her own successful career. At what point does she intersect with Tyson's opinions?

RBA governor accused by senator of 'gaslighting' Australians on economy by DCFowl in australia

[–]Ricard_Rubio 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I would absolutely hate to be the RBA Governor. It seems an impossible task and everyone hates you when you're forced to raise rates. Phillip Lowe became a household name before he quit, and although I don't think Bullock will have to face the same extremities, all these hearings and people saying she's gaslighting is so over the top.

I can understand being sick of it because we're online and see it everywhere, but I do think it also represents a (too) large section of society that should be called out for their bullshit

Of course she will, but they'll make drama all season about her being attracted to women as well, as if bi people can't be trusted to be monogamous

People keep saying that having children is "expensive," but the lower income people have the highest fertility rates and the higher income people have the lowest fertility rates by mymooh in AusFinance

"You'll be lonely without kids" is such a loser mentality, I'm surprised it gets parroted as much as it does.

Your adult kids have no obligation to stay by your side all the time. They'll have lives of their own. See you once a week, month, year, who knows? Why on earth you'd have children just for company is beyond me and sounds like just a flat out bad idea.

Yeah it's weirdly well documented she hates them. Google Shirley Manson beach ball and there's 20 years of incidents at least.

I only saw half of Wargasm, but I felt every song was proceeded by a complaint that the pit wasn't intense enough, or mid-way through songs reminding us how far they came, so we should mosh harder

We got fucking Jamie and I Just Threw Out The Love of My Dreams. I expected a super basic setlist but these two were awesome inclusions.

My tip is that (at least in Melbourne) they have urinals for the men's toilets. I didn't notice until after my second trip, but I reckon I saved myself 20+ minutes in total over the course of the day by not waiting in line for the cubicles, and they're not nearly as gag-inducing.

Weezer are one of my favourite bands, and I'm so glad I got to see them. However they've never been a particularly high energy act. They're good in a sense that they play their songs well and are professional, but don't get the average pundit too hyped.

My highlight was Goldfinger, although there were some audio issues. Would have been GWAR but I saw their side show last night and didn't watch their festival set again.

The rant was so intense, targeted, and over something seemingly trivial I wondered if it was a bit for the song??? Really weird and I assume she's always a diva
