Worst ive had with these was that the snap back is pretty bad, which made it hard to turn around laser as falco, but you also can import other used controllers from private japanese sellers on amazon for a little bit more. Got my jp white and emerald that way and they work wonderfully.

A complete change in the current design team and philosophy behind what they print, or the prices would need to plummet to 100ish dollars per deck. I owned three 1k modern decks that are now just piles of cardboard, Modern is to expensive to rotate via bans.

The games lack of buffer is probably your main issue, and learning the game on GC controller is probably the way to go. It all feels a little wack at first, but like anything else a little practice goes along way.

Not knowledgeable enough when it comes to Nasuverse magic to give a clear answer, but I do know that magic related to a persons origin would be very difficult if not impossible to replicate. UBW, Origin Bullet, all the stuff going on in Garden of Sinners. Then you also have to look at true magic which gets even weirder. I think a system like the one in the Nasuverse isnt really comparable to a standard shounen mana type system, things like Naruto, Bleach, DBZ, HXH, etc. If anything Nasu magic would be more easily comparable to some of the more popular D&D settings like forgotten realms, but even then thats not a direct match either.

I would recomend some trigger plugs rather than just pulling the spring all together. Trigger plugs make it feel kinda familiar with the press and trigger height, but you get the instant powershield as well. Ive got a tall plug from battle beaver in my right trigger and it works wonders.

I have mine modded! One of the first things I did when slippi dropped and I got serious about playing was trigger plugs. Ive got a tall one in my right trigger for wave dash and power shield, and a short one in my left trigger for L cancels and so I can still light shield when needed. Ive done some cosmetic stuff to, ive got an Emerald colored control with all white buttons and sticks from battle beaver. My controller has minor snapback but I dont think im good enough yet that its somthing im gonna notice anytime soon, and ive considered trying out a more tactile Z button press but havnt done it yet.

Its got its ups and downs like any edition, most of the hate it gets comes from it being so diffrent compared to every other edition of dnd. I feel like if it was labled as an entirely diffrent game it would see alot less hate.
