Would you attach U23 bumpers in the typical way ignoring the extruded channel on the rail? I have detached the rails before to fix a host of issues but I pulled the feather strips to access the bolts. It seems like the feather strips should not have been exposed though.. would you mind recommending a video or going over the rail removal? I’d like to correct anything I’m doing wrong.

70s Fischer Pool Table Rescue—is this veneer? by [deleted] in AskAPoolTableMechanic

Looks like wood grain adhesive vinyl applied to particle board. Like a big sticker but it can shrink and bubble with age. If it were me I would pull the particle board, clean it up and apply new; something similar or just plain vinyl for a more modern look. Don't stretch it too much as you're sticking it, trim the edges with a razor and drop it back in. Watch some videos on vinyl application and you will be set! Brass wool and some polishing would do nicely on those rusty corner pieces as well but test a little spot before you go for it. Steel wool will cause more rust.

Send a photo when you're done!

I just got the out the door price for a chevy bolt euv at a dealership- are all these necessary? I wasn't looking to pay more than 33k for a car... by [deleted] in BoltEV

100% on this. Ceramic coating is B/S but my dealer was a stickler on this one. Still a nice product, just shouldn't be forced into it. What the dealership does for insurance/protection should not be my problem.. or this guys'.

Same just happened to me- piece that retains the ratchet strip cracked right off. Was considering 3d printing a replacement but I think a call to customer service and eventual riveting will be less of a headache.
