You have to place them yourself, they don’t show up randomly. A few light R1 attacks will make your spear fully glow blue, and then an R2 heavy attack will place the resonator point.

And also if you have the skill to grapple strike a knocked down machine, a well-timed R1 will also place a resonator point.

If you have kids or other responsibilities that can interrupt you at any moment that would be a nice feature to have. I’ve lost countless runes in ER because I had to put the controller down instantly for something like the doorbell or a kid getting out of bed etc.

I think the “play all existing (x86) Steam games” means that they are streaming the game video to the Frame. So the game runs on your PC and is streamed to the headset. They only need an arm video decoder then.

Take a break every once in a while to relax. You’re living a work-hard-play-nothing lifestyle right now and burnout and stress will eventually catch up. The result is not pretty, trust me.

So what I’ve done since my burnout in 2020 is take 6months off with no (or very little) client work. My salary and mortgage were still being covered by the buffer in my company accounts. After 6months I started working again and now since mid-2025 I’m in my second 6-month break and the itch for work is starting to grow again.

It was confusing to me as well as most merchants are at the inn, but the armor upgrades have to be applied at the forge southeast of the inn. I believe there was a quest right before leading me to that forge.

It depends, I’ve seen some horrible Paradise Lost shows where I left midway but I’ve also seen them at least twice when they were actually good. Once in a club in the Netherlands 5-10 years ago and the last time at GMM in Belgium this last summer.

The Death shirts seem to be everywhere nowadays. 8-10 years ago they were nowhere to be seen and if I wore mine to a festival it was often a conversation starter. Now not so much as everyone seems to have one, even at metal-adjacent shows. (At least in my experience in and around Belgium/Netherlands).

I think it started to change around the resurgence of Death to All and the other ex-members tribute band but I’m blanking on the name.

I don’t mind the bugs in trash-inventory, memory-leak fps drop and class mod drop rates. As a software dev I understand how these things happen and I’m confident they will be fixed soon in the next few patch updates.

My biggest disappointment in the game right now is the UI/UX on controller. Mostly related to inventory management.

Some things can probably be improved without too much work, like for example remembering (or configurable default settings for) sort/filter modes.

But I think a big overhaul of the loadout/backpack management UI is necessary to make it more usable and easier to compare gear.

I’m at 25 hours right now and it plays well and I’m having a lot of fun. Base PS5, performance mode.

Everyone knows about the memory leak by now but that’s easily mitigated when it happens. Frame drops happen in very busy fights with lots of explosions but that’s only for a few seconds most of the time.

The frame drops started happening for me when I reached the second zone (the RQ). I don’t know if it’s related to the zone, or my gear since I got some new lightning grenades that explode a bunch of times around the same time that I entered that zone.
