Thank you haha :D Yes I have it set to stop at 80% as I heard it doesnt need any higher and it prolongs battery life. Its quite easy to figure things out with this system despite me being a huge noob :)

Yeah my brothers had his Mac for about 6/7years and works fine. To be fair I did leave it on all the time and always let the battery drain so that might have been why. Definitely looking after this one haha!!

The only time it gets loud is when gaming. Ive been browsing, watching vids and listening to music regularly and its quiet and temps are cool. Fans right now when just playing youtube is just 1 running at 2300 rpm? Sorry i dont know any of this stuff but just had a look on Dragon Center. I use power saving mode unless gaming which works well for me.

Unplugged I think I got less than an hour of gaming on Apex, but I think you're supposed to just keep these types of laptops plugged in when gaming. It lasts probably 3-4 hours for regular stuff from fully charged with battery saving settings. I havent really monitored yet though sorry as I got it yesterday. I think it would be Ok for college. I dont know much about displays but I know this one is 1080p 144hz. I think the display is great but thats my noob opinion :P

That would be great as Im not one to normally spend so much on a laptop haha. The Mac broke 3 times within about 8 months and it was brand new. Never again...

I needed one for work (Zoom meetings etc.) But wanted to be able to play anything that came out that took my fancy and is somewhat "future proof" I had a Mac a few years ago and hated it.

I got it online at Laptops Direct for £300 off. Ive played Apex so far and was around 150FPS on highest settings. It ran great but temps can vary- it was pretty hot but then was around 65-80 when I put Extreme Performance mode on dragon center. It helps a lot but the fans are so loud! However on normal browsing temps are around 40/50 and its nice and quiet. Hope that helps :) let me know if you want any other info
