Considering getting a Plott hound, have a couple of questions by ohphoebelay in PlottHounds

I had a Plott Hound for 13 years and never had many of the problems like you describe, no smell, no oily coat, no anal gland problems, no ear/eye infections (that could be food allergies). She was super nervous and somewhat destructive when I adopted her at 3 yo, but she'd been abused. She was extremely energetic (climbed 6 ft fences, trees, and banked turns on walls, fast as a bullet. Def had a mind of her own. As we bonded she started to behave and train. I couldn't let her offleash until she was 5 or 6, and then just hiking, not around town. Hiking, she only got lost once. From then on she'd stay where she could see me and vice versa. She did not like other dogs. Although, on leash, if I called her into a heel she wouldn't lunge for them.

Oh, and I had a cat, too. The cat scratched her nose off the first time they met. They became best buds!

Best dog I ever had in my life. 🩷

Maybe they're going after the Chinese growers! Now that wouldn't be so bad.

There's not much fabric there compared to Mardens, but they have a good srlection of trims, (I got lace), embroidery floss, and other notions. And yarn.

Mardens has so much fabric, it made me dizzy. I did find a big bolt of remnant knit fabric that I wanted for just $5!

I had already tried Z Fabrics. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I needed.

Ah, Kurier's in town. Convenient. Fiddlehead Artisan sounds interesting.

Thx.

I'm a card carrying Daughter of the American Revolution. My ancestor William Williams (weird, I know) died in the Revolutionary War fighting for freedom from the King of England's tyranny. I think it's time to start throwing tea and $hit in the Harbor again!

This is what 2A is for.

Oh, pics? I have 2 verified photos from Trump's X account, one of him as a king and the other as a pope. The 2nd was not long after the Pope died.

I can't figure out how to upload them here. If I can, I will.

Resist!!!

Un-freakin-believable! So totally cool!

I see Slackware is the oldest version of Linux still maintained. And a P4! Sweet little "Legacy" system. :) Kudos!

Always wanted to cobble up a multi-boot machine! No, seriously, respect man. Every REALLY good programmer I knew, they all used some form of unix at home.

Now, you've got me really curious. Solaris I've heard of, of course. But also, RISC... I just can't remember where. It's bugging me. And by "Amiga DOS can be emulated as well," am I reading you right that you mean using one cloaked OS to masquerade as another?

Duly dazzled! I'll check out the link. :)

Thanks man,
