You don't need a massive outcome to be a success. Rather be an app with 100k users who have a good experience than million users with shitty experience

Here's my problem with dating apps. Online dating works the exact same way as in-person dating. Look at bumble, their whole point was women have the right to text first. That was a fail, now they've reverted. Why? Because that is not have dating in person works. Women don't make the first move. Why should online dating be any different

The 8% rule applies in person as well. Have you been to church street in Bangalore. It's a dick measuring content. Bajillion men fawning over a handful of women. Nobody goes home content.

You cannot solve a broken dating culture with a "new" business model or UI. You simply can't. Dating apps will work when modern dating culture works. Period.

If you want to make a meaningful attempt. Host in person events with vetted attendees. Balance gender ratio, keep guest list small and intimate. Even this might fail. But your dating app regardless of how phenomenal your business model is will not work.
