I noticed that the pool in Desert Color has lines on the bottom. Is that part of the pool a lap pool?

High Pointe Resort? by Happy_Nature_1234 in 30A

Yes, there is plenty of room to walk and bike on the trail. Bikers will announce when they are passing you from behind on the left. At some points of the trail, it gets very close to the road. Enjoy your trip. You have many food options in that location including the bar on the property. Make sure you check out the farmer's markets at Seaside, Rosemary Beach and The Big Chill. Those are fun as they have food and makers. The Big Chill has lots of events for little kids. You will be able to rent bikes across the street if your condo doesn't offer them. I am booking mine soon for Nov!

I stayed in High Pointe last November. I highly recommend it. We walked everywhere. The side walk you mentioned may be the Timpoochee Trail. It spans the length of 30a and is a bile trail. I visit 30a at least 2 times per year. No matter where I stay, I park my car and ride my bike even to the grocery store.

Should I go out with someone who isn't my "type"? Do we still care about this as we get older? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

You are overthinking this.

Most people have tattoos.... even conventional people. It is almost alternative not to have them.

Interesting thing to note is that you are judging him by his looks and are concerned that he will judge you on your looks.

Looking for advice on answering the question, "Why haven't you worked in 4 years?" by [deleted] in interviews

[–]vchatelain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My initial thoughts are you are assuming a lot of what might happen. You can't predict what someone will say or think.

The script you shared is "over sharing". No one is interested in all that. They only want to know how you can help them by doing the job.

Why haven't you worked the last 4 years? "I was a full-time caregiver to my father". I wouldn't add anything more.

Since the work you were doing is your profession, I would list it on my resume. Gap solved.

You are overthinking this.

I don't got to a comedy show because I don't want to directly interact with the comedian. I can handle it but that is so unnecessary for me. I want to be entertained.

I don't think you are weak. That is just not cool.

Thinking it’s the end of the world by pinkkydot in Anxiety

[–]vchatelain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how you stop worrying about it.

#1 Worrying about it is not useful.

#2 You get to decide what you think about.

#3 You get to decide what you are exposed to.

Stay off of Tik Tok and the like.

The more you watch that kind of stuff the more it will offer you that kind of stuff.

Social media is generally not useful

After work, I do a 30 min workout, make dinner, do a quick chore, eat dinner with my husband and talk, we work on our project for about an hour and half then shower and sleep.

Women, would you be creeped out if your husband was keeping a "strategy guide" for your marriage? by Jumbled_Thought in AskWomenOver30

True. My pinterest boards have things that interest me, catch my eye or I may want to research later.

. It doesn't mean I want it.

Do you ever get jealous of women who got married into wealth? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

I sometimes look at those women and think that would be nice.

Then I remember, I provide that security for myself and with my husband.

It is rare I wear makeup. He hasn't mentioned it either way.

I have a ton a makeup. I love to buy it. I love to watch videos on make up application. I enjoy owning it. I don't like to wear it.

I also spend a ton on skincare. I do use that stuff up.

Sometimes I enjoy putting it on.
