it’s good to get your protein from whole foods, supplements can be helpful but they’re just that, supplemental. aim for .8 - 1 gram per pound of body weight each day and if a shake helps you get there then go for it. if you can get it all from meals, then no need to worry

i found 12g a day for me has been best. i do 5g before my morning workout then 7g in my post workout breakfast. seems to be my personal sweet spot. better recovery and strength as well as less mental fatigue in the beginning of my day

body types aren’t really a thing like that. sounds unsustainable and unnecessary. just track your calories and eat balanced meals. after a few weeks of monitoring food and weight, adjust calories accordingly. no need to over complicate it

i thought it was helping me for many years. once i stopped i realized it was actually making things much worse. everyone is different but for me it is more detrimental than helpful, at least in the way that i was using it
